China 1895, Korean merchants in China are being oppressed by the Manchu forces. Jang Tae-sa, a powerful man is sent to crush the Korean merchants and take over their assets. Elton Chong stars as a monk who was sent from Korea, disguised as a beggar named, ‘Master Bum’, to help stand up to the Manchus and defend the honour of the Korean merchants and their stalls in this martial arts classic. Considered by many to be one of the best Korean martial-arts films of the 80’s, this film features stunning martial arts scenes, witty dialogue and slapstick action seperating it from the typical Korean martial arts movies of the time..
